What to Do If You’re Charged the Wrong Copayment
If you believe you are being charged the wrong amount at your pharmacy, you can:
Call Member Services at 1-800-431-9007 (TTY users should call 711) and explain that you qualify for Extra Help
Provide supporting documents to verify your eligibility, such as:
Your Medi-Cal card showing active coverage.
A state-issued document confirming Medi-Cal eligibility.
A printout from California’s Medi-Cal system showing your status.
A letter from Social Security confirming your Supplemental Security Income (SSI).

If you believe you are being charged incorrectly at the pharmacy, you can request a cost adjustment by providing documentation of your eligibility.
