Out-of-Network We are an out-of-network provider for all other insurance companies. We are happy to provide all necessary information to obtain out of network benefits.
Medicaid Unfortunately, we do not accept Medicaid plans at this time. If you have questions about your insurance coverage feel free to email or call us and we can help determine your eligibility. Sessions Vary in Length Most are 50 minutes. For those paying out of pocket the fee ranges from $150- $175 for a 50 minute session. We have limited sliding-scale fees appointment available, please contact us if you are in need of one. Finding a therapist that is the right fit is essential to success in therapy. We gladly offer a free 15 minute consultation to determine if we are a good fit to meet your goals.
Therapy is often more affordable than you might think, especially if you're planning to use insurance. Many clients find that their only out-of-pocket cost is a low copay, which can be as little as $10–$50 per session. If your insurance plan requires you to meet a deductible before coverage begins, summer is an excellent time to start therapy. The average person with employer-sponsored insurance hits their deductible in May, meaning by June many are paying only a small percentage of the session cost.
We are happy to check your benefits and provide a cost estimate for you. Simply click the Therapy Cost Estimator button, complete a short form and we can call your insurance company on your behalf.
If you plan to pay out of pocket our self pay rate is $150.
Copay: A fixed amount you pay for therapy, due at the time of service. Typically between $10-$50.
Deductible: The amount you pay for therapy before your insurance plan starts to pay. Once you've met your deductible, you usually pay only a small percentage of the cost of sessions. Typically 10-20% of the total session cost.
If you're unsure whether you've met your deductible or if you have a copay, we are happy to check on your behalf. Simply complete the cost estimator form and we can call your insurance to determine your benefits.
Yes, most insurance plans cover therapy. Under the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA), insurance companies are required to provide mental health and substance use disorder benefits that are no more restrictive than medical/surgical benefits. It prohibits insurers from imposing higher deductibles, copays, or visit limits for mental health services compared to other medical services. This means your copay, deductible, and visit limits for therapy should be comparable to those for other medical services.
We are in-network with Medicare and most Medicare Advantage and commercial insurance plans. See full list of insurance we accept above. We are happy to check your benefits and confirm that we are in-network with your insurance plan. Simply click the Therapy Cost Estimator button, complete a short form and we can call your insurance company on your behalf.
If we are not in-network with your insurance, we provide all necessary information to obtain out-of-network benefits.
How does out-of-network reimbursement work? Reimbursement rates for out-of-network benefits typically range from 50% to 80% of the session fee, depending on your plan and whether you've met your deductible.
1) Pay upfront: You will pay the full session fee at the time of service. Our self pay rate is $150.
2) Obtain a superbill: After each session, we will provide you with a superbill—a detailed receipt that includes all necessary information for insurance reimbursement.
3) Submit the claim: Submit the superbill to your insurance company for reimbursement.
4) Receive reimbursement: If eligible, your insurance company will reimburse you directly based on their out-of-network reimbursement rates.
Please note, we do not accept Medicaid or BCBS Community plans at this time.
Session length: Most sessions are 50 minutes.
