What to Do If You’re Charged the Wrong Copayment

If you believe you are being charged the wrong amount at your pharmacy, you can:

  • Call Member Services at 1-800-431-9007 (TTY users should call 711) and explain that you qualify for Extra Help

  • Provide supporting documents to verify your eligibility, such as:

    • Your Medi-Cal card showing active coverage.

    • A state-issued document confirming Medi-Cal eligibility.

    • A printout from California’s Medi-Cal system showing your status.

    • A letter from Social Security confirming your Supplemental Security Income (SSI).
