Confirm Your Eligibility
If you have Medi-Cal, you are likely already enrolled in the Medi-Cal Dental Program.

Find a Dentist That Accepts Medi-Cal
Visit SmileCalifornia.org and use the provider search tool to find a dentist near you.
You can also call 1-800-322-6384 (TTY: 1-800-735-2922) for assistance.
Schedule an Appointment
Call the dentist’s office and mention that you have Medi-Cal Dental.
Ask about available appointment times and any paperwork you may need to bring.
Go to Your Appointment
Arrive on time and bring your Medi-Cal ID card or proof of eligibility.
Your dentist will let you know what services you need and what’s covered.
Follow Up as Needed
If you need additional treatment, your dentist will guide you on next steps.

Through the Medi-Cal Dental Program, members can receive a broad selection of dental services, including but not limited to:
Preventive Care: Initial examinations, X-rays, professional teeth cleanings, and fluoride treatments to help prevent dental issues before they start.
Restorative Treatments: Fillings, crowns, and other procedures designed to repair and restore damaged or decayed teeth.
Root Canal Therapy: Endodontic treatment to preserve natural teeth and prevent extractions.
Dentures and Related Services: Partial and complete dentures, along with necessary adjustments, repairs, and relines to ensure comfort and functionality.
