  1. Request that a network primary care provider conduct the screening (can be combined with another visit or scheduled as a separate visit).


For people who ask for an HIV screening test or who are at increased risk for HIV infection, the plan covers:

  • One screening exam every 12 months

For women who are pregnant, the plan covers:

  • Up to three screening exams during a pregnancy
